Mah Jong Quest is a wonderful classic mahjong game in which you travel from place to place solving puzzles and restoring the landscapes with the power of of the Tao. The game features 88 classic board layout to be played in five different modes, including Ghost, in which the tiles are invisible until mouse over them, fading away again after a few seconds, and also Memory, in which the tiles are face down. In Kwazi's Quest, which is indeed the most interesting and original mode, your goal is to search for two particular tiles: the golden Yin and Yang. When you uncover and match them, the remaining tiles on the board disappear granting you more points and winning the game. The game also includes special tiles which have special powers, for instance, the Dynamite, which destroys stone walls that block your path, giving you access to trapped tiles. It also offers a hint button, in case you need some help, and the undo button, in case you make a wrong move. As the game progresses the puzzles get more and more challenging. The graphics are good and the oriental music is very tranquil and pleasant. All in all, if you are looking for a complete mahjong game to play for hours, Mah Jong Quest will certainly not disappoint you. It supports Windows 98/XP/ME/2000. |
